What's on the bag
Specialty grade coffee, small batch roasted in the USA throughout the week for peak flavor and consistency. The roast, the tasting notes, the ingredients and the weight are printed on every bag, exactly as they are. Nothing invented, nothing hidden.
Our name
GOOD is English. SOL is Spanish for sun. BON is French for good. We borrowed one word from each of the languages we hear every day, and put the sun in the middle, because that is where a good day starts.
Drip and pour-over
Medium grind, 1:16 coffee to water, water just off the boil at about 200°F. Bloom 30 seconds, finish in 3-4 minutes.
French press and espresso
Press: coarse grind, four minutes, press slowly. Espresso: fine grind, about 18 g in and 36 g out in 25-30 seconds. Adjust the grind first.
Loose-leaf tea
About 2.5 g per 12 oz. Black teas and chai at 195°F for 5-7 minutes (Earl Grey up to 10), green mint at 175°F for 3-4, hibiscus at a full boil for 5-10. Never squeeze the leaves.

Both, same price. Choose on the product page. Ground is a drip grind for drip and pour-over; Midnight Espresso comes fine ground for espresso.
Orders are packed and shipped from the roastery in 2-5 business days, then 1-5 business days in transit. Shipping is free on every US order, and you get a tracking number by email.
Email social@goodsolbon.com within 14 days with your order number and a photo. We replace it or refund you in full. Coffee and tea are food, so we never ask you to ship anything back.
